As my parents carelessly rant about the possibility of their divorce, I stand realizing 35 years of marital commitment doesn’t really mean shit.
I tell my dad “get a divorce if u want to, but it will be more difficult on you.” He is, after all, nearing his 70th birthday in a few years. What are they gonna do, start dating? They’ve never dated in their lives!
